ABOUT SERVANTS

Driven by its founding mission, Servants has served as a leading home repair nonprofit committed

to strengthening community for more than 20 years. Our goal is to see the entire church engaged in

serving Christ through serving others. We do this by harnessing the power of volunteers in

providing critical home repairs as an approach to the preservation of safe, healthy, and affordable

housing in York, Lancaster, and Adams Counties.

Home repairs and modifications stand as a transformative solution to the affordable housing crisis,

challenging the conventional approach of new home building. Home repairs are not just practical,

but rejuvenate homes, fostering safety, and building stronger, connected communities.

Additionally, renovated homes echo prosperity throughout communities. Home repairs are the

catalyst for positive change. The shortage of affordable housing affects us all, transcending

demographics and geographical boundaries.

Each repaired home is a testament to resilience, strength, and the unwavering spirit of community.

OUR Mission

The mission of Servants is to serve Christ through serving others. We build meaningful relationships, transform lives, and provide hope through compassionate action. We ignite a passion within the entire church to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in crisis. Our service opportunities, such as providing critical home repairs, demonstrate Christ's love and ensure safe and affordable housing for all, particularly older adults and people with disabilities.

OUR Vision

Servants' vision is to see the entire church passionately engaged in serving Christ through serving others. We see a future where partnerships flourish, enabling us to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in crisis. Through these transformative relationships, lives are changed, and hope is restored. We envision a world where safe and affordable housing is accessible to all, particularly older adults and people with disabilities, reflecting Christ's love in action.
